At Readers 2 Leaders, we believe literacy is a human right that unlocks learning and opportunity, paving the way for academic and life success. Our goal is to equip our entire community with the power of reading. Only when we work together will we achieve our goal of all students thriving today as readers and tomorrow as leaders.
OUR IMPACT
In the 2022-2023 school year, Readers 2 Leaders worked with over 1,600 students. With targeted support and practice, our students are not just meeting their reading goals—they're exceeding them.
The Power of Reading for ALL
The Challenge: Students who struggle with reading in the early years often face difficulties later in all other subjects, which rely heavily on reading comprehension. Early intervention can change that trajectory, but educators and caregivers need more resources to help students succeed as readers.
The Solution: We provide small group instruction, one-on-one support, and engaging activities to help students master foundational phonics and comprehension skills. When we reach students early, we can accelerate their learning and help them thrive. We also empower parents, current and future teachers, out-of-school program leaders, and volunteers with literacy skills and resources, extending our impact beyond the students we directly serve.

Readers 2 Leaders is a CNM Certified Prime organization. CNM acknowledges organizations that are using a valid methodology for collecting, analyzing and reporting program outcomes; making data-driven decisions; improving program performance; and engaging stakeholders in a meaningful way.
