Reading Buddies

Be a part of our students’ reading journeys! Reading Buddies not only help children improve their reading comprehension skills, but also increase their confidence and nurture their love of reading.

You do not need prior teaching or tutoring experience to be a volunteer. Readers 2 Leaders provides all necessary training, as well as on-site support from our staff.

Requirements:

• Must have completed at least one year of high school to be eligible

  • If younger, must have parent supervision 

• Background checks required 

• Commitment to weekly sessions

• Read with students, one-on-one or in small groups

• In-School, After-School, and Summer Program opportunities

We are currently recruiting volunteers for our In-School and After-School Program. If you are interested in volunteering in our Summer Camp program, please fill out this interest form.
